Certification granted by ISOQAR is valid for a period of 3 years. To maintain validity of the certified management system throughout this period, our auditor will carry out at least once a year a review audit (surveillance audit).
Usually, the second surveillance audit is carried out about 24 months from the date of certification.
The main objective of this surveillance audit is to ensure that the management system is effective and continues to meet the requirements of the standard. In addition, the auditor will also confirm the correct usage of certification by reviewing the management system over the past 12 months.
The duration of the surveillance audit largely depends on the certified standards and the scope of certification but it is usually shorter than the duration of initial certification.
After 3 years from initial registration, your certificate together with all attachments expires. In order to maintain continuity of certification and its extension for another three year period, your system will need to undergo re-certification.
